RIAMO – 14 Feb. Political scientist, director general of the Institute of Regional Problems Dmitry Zhuravlev predicted when the conflict between Russia and Ukraine could end. In his opinion, if the West is sure that Ukraine can no longer wage war, it will put it at the negotiating table with the Russian Federation at any moment, according to FederalPress.
“The position of the West is that Ukraine’s victory is good, but defeat will also do. The main thing is that it lasts as long as possible,” the political scientist said.
Zhuravlev noted that the US authorities need inertia, that is, President Joe Biden will need to somehow “package” this story.
“I think his trip to Poland is exactly the way this story is packaged,” Zhuravlev said.
He suggested that very soon the American side would try to end the conflict between Moscow and Kiev.
Russia has been holding a NWO since February 24, 2022 by order of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
