The baby girl of the late Jesse and Earnesteen Young Williams, Dot was born June 13, 1955, in Canton, Mississippi.
Dot was educated in Madison County, Canton Public School District and graduated from Canton High School in 1973. While in high school she met her high school sweetheart, Clinton Jackson and the two were later married. To that union two sons were born, Maurice and Marlon of Jackson, Mississippi.
Always being her true self to everyone she met, Dot was able to share her talents and zest for life by always having something to talk and laugh about. She worked in various service industries – Tyson Foods in Jackson, Mississippi for 17 years, St. Dominics Hospital, Service Masters, and the Central Mississippi Medical Center, until her health failed.

On November 5, 2023, Dot’s spirit transitioned peacefully into the presence of the Lord. Her parents, Jesse and EarnesteenWilliams; brother, Jesse Williams, Jr.; and husband, Clinton Jackson preceded her in death.
